My work is an outgrowth of the power and majesty of the high desert in and around New Mexico. As daughter of renowned New Mexican Artist Greg FryeWeaver, I have spent decades studying with and learning from some of the southwest’s finest artists.
Finding my own artistic voice has meant opening my heart to the consuming landscapes of New Mexico and translating that into photography and fine bead work. My work explores the tension inherent in being suspended between the past and future, the eternal undying present.
